Tiered Tray Decorated for Canadian Thanksgiving

I hope all my fellow Canadians had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We traveled to visit our son and his girlfriend and had a wonderful time.

Before we left, I managed to do a bit of decorating for Thanksgiving including my tiered tray.

Here's how I styled the top tier.

Small metal houses that light up, pumpkins with the perfect messages and faux foliage were incorporated throughout the tray.

I added small bundles of wheat tucking them in all the empty spots.

A faux leaf in the handle of the tray helps fill that area.

The bottom tier received the same mix of items.

I used little dishes and drink coasters to elevate the items so they could be seen better.

The metal houses are actually Christmas tree ornaments and I was happy to find them at a local Pharmasave store last year during the clearance sales.

In keeping with the Thanksgiving theme, Mr. Turkey gets a place on the tray too.

My tiered tray sits on the end of our kitchen island and adds a festive welcome as we enter this space.

The front view again...

...and the view from the back

We'll probably enjoy my fall decor for a bit longer but I'm already dreaming of what I'll do for Christmas!

Thanks for visiting!

I'll be linking this post to these terrific blog parties:
