I'm sure you'll agree that things are a bit scary out there right now! With all that is going on in the world with the pandemic of the Covid 19 virus, I thought you might like to take your mind off of all the uncertainty and have a look at how I decorated my kitchen for St Patrick's Day.
I started by decking out my tiered tray for this Irish holiday.
This year, I added pops of yellow to all the green.
Yellow tulips, green shamrocks, a sign and a pot of gold...
...along with this little leprechaun and his green beer sit on the bottom tier of the tray.
This is the view from the opposite side.
Here sits a green candle, yellow dishes with a pot of gold and a green grass faux plant.
More tulips and another leprechaun sit on this side of the top tier.
I placed the tray on the end of our kitchen island and it is a festive welcome upon entering the space.
Recently, I added two place settings on the island for us to enjoy our meals leading up to St. Patrick's Day.
Again, green and yellow were the colours used.
I've had these little pots of gold for a long time and added some chocolate gold coins inside as a treat.
Our mugs are ready but they won't be holding any "green" beer! LOL
The tiered tray next to our place settings acts as a centerpiece or rather a "side-piece".
Will you be celebrating today? Even if you are stuck at home trying to "social distance", adding a festive touch to your meals might make things seem not so bad!
Thanks for visiting!
I'll be linking this post to these wonderful blog parties:
