I'll take you on a shelf-by-shelf tour but first, this is how the whole unit looks together.
For the top of the etagere, I arranged a rustic Santa and a couple of reindeer.
They sit against a backdrop of metal wall-art trees which I attached to the back of the etagere.
The second shelf
I placed a Happy Holidays sign in a small case with some birch and added another set of reindeer.
The third shelf consists of black lanterns, plaid wrapped presents and a wooden box.
The fourth and final shelf
The trio of burlap bags in a wire basket take center stage on this shelf.
A pretty plaid package and a bronze-toned reindeer sit to the left.
Two metal pine cones were arranged on the right.
Another look at the etagere all decked out.
So glad to have made a start to my Christmas decorating. Hope you'll check back to see more.
Thanks for visiting!

I always enjoy your holiday decorating. The Etagere looks wonderful- love the mix of reindeer, wrapped packages and pinecones. The trio burlap bags are so cute! I haven't begun my Christmas decorating but I am thinking a lot about it!
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! I can't say enough about the beautiful Christmas eye candy on your etagere - it's gorgeous! I have started decorating early this year as well and it is so calming. I am hoping by doing so I will keep some of the holiday craziness at bay. Wish me luck! You definitely have a gift for putting together lovely vignettes. Jane
ReplyDeleteI just love this grouping. The Santa is spectacular and the touches of plaid are perfection!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous and I agree with the comments above. The little faux tree on the left of the second shelf is wonderful, I've never seen anything like it. Where did you find it?
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor is so lovely. Love the colors, textures and design.
ReplyDeleteYour etagere is styled so beautifully! Love your use of the traditional elements. You have me wishing for shelves to decorate like this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas decor, Lori! You are always such an inspiration to me, specially this year since I am really struggling trying to figure out how to decorate our home for the holidays. Take care, Maria
ReplyDeleteLori, I love EVERYTHING on your shelf! I had to pin this. LOVE the deer and I am a Santa girl for sure! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeletePlaid and reindeer, oh my goodness I love this! My Mom always had an etagere and she took pride in the treasures she displayed on it. This is so pretty and thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great week.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so pretty at your house. It's still hot here in Dallas and I'm having a hot time accepting that Christmas is coming. Seeing your pretty things makes me look forward to decorating. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great piece to display your Christmas decorations on! I love the plaid mixed with the birch pieces.
ReplyDeleteYour etagere looks wonderful. Your post made me smile, I always have the tradition of starting with my Living room tree first. Thats what puts me in the holiday spirit, so now you have me rethinking on maybe I should start with a smaller little corner first!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Well, I love plaid and the presents tucked in here and there are wonderful! I have a lot of plaid and use it in different areas of my home each year. This year it will be in my family room and kitchen. Each shelf vignette is just darling. It's always so fun to get started. I began decking my basement today and I love the spirit that it brings into my home! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
