Spring to Summer Transition Tablescape

I'm not sure why but this year, as spring turns to summer, I've been decorating a bit more with neutrals. Maybe it is because they create a calm soothing vibe which is something I'd like a lot more of as we head into the next season.  :)

The inspiration for this tablescape began with these faux peonies which speak of upcoming summer blooms.

I placed them in glass vases on either side of a black lantern.

In keeping with the transition from spring, I placed faux blossoms along the table runner.

Faux succulents also played a part in the decorations on the table.

One was placed on each side, in between the peony arrangements and the lantern.

I didn't use a tablecloth but for texture, I used these woven placemats.

The place settings were done in black and white with a blossom-patterned napkin.

These white lily shaped bowls went well with the blooms & blossoms look.

Faux succulents in little tin cans were set out as a take home favour for each guest.

My butterfly embossed stemware fit the theme perfectly.

The view towards the living room.

Blooms, blossoms and succulents in neutral tones combine for this spring to summer transition tablescape.

Are you still enjoying spring where you live?

Or have you already transitioned into summer?

Thanks for visiting!

This is gorgeous! I'm head over hills for every detail on your tablescape! Love that you went with the soothing neutrals for the spring to summer transition. Most people go with more cheerful, brighter colors, but you've shown that it doesn't have to be that way. The succulents and peonies are so pretty and the white lily shaped bowl is the cutest and so unique. Thank you so much for sharing this, it's really inspiring!
