Lodge-Look Christmas Etagere

This year's Christmas decor on the etagere has a definite lodge-look to it which is one of my favourite vibes for the winter season.  I've put together items associated with the outdoors along with some festive elements  to create a rustic holiday feel in this corner of our living room.

Here's the full view but I'll take you on a shelf by shelf tour.

The top shelf began with this North Pole sign I picked up at Walmart this year.

I thought my old world Santa with skis went well with it.

On the other side, a pre-lit tree and a package wrapped in buffalo check add to the scene.

With a rectagular basket as a backdrop, the 2nd shelf was adorned with a majestic deer and some more festively wrapped presents.

Ski decorations are always a popular choice in our household and fit in perfectly here.

Two white buckets hold frosted greens on each end of this shelf.

Moving on to the third shelf below...

Birch logs, antlers, trees and a black lantern combine for a woodsy look on the 3rd shelf.

Love this black moose I got at Walmart last year. He goes well with buffalo check plaid!

Centerstage on this shelf displays an I'll be Home for Christmas sign for a nostalgic touch.

Battery operated mini-lights were woven throughout the shelf decor.

The bottom shelf features a red truck with the back filled with Christmas trees.

Deer were nestled on each side of the truck.

This etagere stand is an area I really enjoy decorating for all seasons but especially at Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed seeing it!

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Nice job as usual. I also have a shelf like that, in my eating area. I actually find it frustrating to come up with a cohesive look. I often look to you for inspiration.
I saw that Moose at Walmart. It is HEAVY!
Where did you get your birch logs?
