With that in mind, I decided to go with more muted tones but with a warm rustic vibe when designing my Thanksgiving tablescape.
My inspiration began with these copper-coloured floral napkin rings I found in the clearance section at Pier 1.
The place settings included a woven placemat, copper coloured charger, brown dinner plate and a green leaf shaped salad plate.
The copper mugs were set atop brass pillar candle holders to give them height and presence on the table.
A faux pumpkin centerpiece took center stage.
A variety of rustic faux pumpkins were placed inside a rectangular basket which was set on an overturned wooden tray.

Faux leaves, acorns, pine cones and battery-operated white mini-lights were arranged alongside the pumpkins.
These type of centerpieces are easy to put together using whatever you have on hand that fits the theme.
On the ends of the table, I arranged a grouping of other fall accents.
Some mosaic votive holders...
...along with grapevine orbs decorated with more white mini-lights...
...and a metallic look pumpkin on a pedestal.

I'm not sure yet which day we'll be sitting down to our turkey dinner at this table but..
...I'm looking forward to celebrating the special occasion with family.
Wishing all my Canadian friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Love, love, love this table!!! I am really crazy over the moscow mule mugs on the gold pedestal with the flatware in the cup!!! Cute presentation! The colors are gorgeous - and of course the plaid napkin tucked in there is perfect!!! Enjoy your Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. The copper really helps create a gorgeous fall setting. Your center arrangement is wonderful. Love the fern leaves and wheat stuck in here and there with the twinkle lights! I wish our Thanksgiving was earlier in the season so Christmas isn't so quick to happen. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your decor. I was wondering how you store everything. We are redesigning one of our large storage closets and I am hoping to use it for decor. I want something where I can easily see what I have and be able to change it out for the seasons. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I love to see copper used in a fall tablescape! (And I'm glad it is cool somewhere - in the N. GA mountains it is still unseasonable WARM!) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, enjoy being with your family around this lovely table.

ReplyDeleteThis is a truly stunning table setting. All the colors, fabrics, finishes and pumpkins look so festive together. I love the mini - they really do add to any scenario where they are included. I especially liked the double-napkins with wheat included. Beautifully done and thank you for sharing. I am visiting from Finding Silver Pennies.
