Fall Decor on the Etagere

Here is a look at how I decorated the etagere that stands in the far corner of our living room.  Although it usually takes me awhile to get a look I like, I always enjoy arranging seasonal decor on this piece of furniture.

Here's the full view of the etagere.

I'll break it down shelf by shelf for you starting with the top one.

I've kept these trees as a backdrop. They are a metal wall art piece that I attached to the etagere a few years back.

These pumpkin soup tureens make great decor items atop candleholders. Faux fall flowers in a burlap vase sit on a piece of birch.

Wooden letters spell out the season we are celebrating.

The second shelf

I had fun adding a buffalo check pillow on this shelf.  It made for a contrasting backdrop to these orange pillar candles.

In the center of the shelf, I placed a round basket behind a wooden cross.

A faux fall flower arrangement and another pumpkin soup tureen sit to the right on this shelf.

Another look at the fall decor on this shelf.

The third shelf features a birdcage as the centerpiece.

A little birdie has made a nest on yet another pumpkin soup tureen :)

A black lantern and scarecrow sit on each side of the birdcage.

I placed some fall decor inside the lanterns instead of candles.

Another look at the birdcage, lanterns and scarecrows on this shelf.

The fourth shelf

The black colour is continued with a black lantern on this shelf as well.

Another buffalo check pillow provides a background for these fall ceramic pieces.

The matching fall floral arrangement from the 2nd shelf is placed here on the bottom shelf to carry the colours throughout.

A final look at this shelf.

And there you have my fall decor on the etagere.

I hope you'll check back to see more of my fall decor.
