Pumpkins & Antlers Fall Mantel

I've started my fall decorating and began with the mantel and fireplace in our living room.  I chose a pumpkins & antlers theme since I wanted to group all of the Pier 1 antler pieces Mr Delight has given me over the past while in one place. Last year, I went with a more neutral colour scheme (here) but the more traditional oranges were calling to me this fall.

I like how they pop against the stone of our fireplace.

And they add a warm glow to the living room.

Which is the look I crave in the fall.

I started by hanging this pumpkin wreath inside a gold frame above the mantel.

A few leaves are falling from this metal wall art piece with the help of clear fishing line.

This gold tone antler candleholder from Pier 1 was placed in the center of the mantel.

Mr. Delight gave me these 3 pieces for different occasions over the past while.

He picked them out himself and I just love them!

I nestled pumpkin garlands around the bases.

I placed a vase of tall faux grasses with battery-operated mini-lights on each end of the mantel. They look nice at night.

And of course, candlelight always creates a cozy atmosphere.

A couple years back, I made this FALL banner and I brought it out again for this year's mantel.

I taped it to the existing curtain rod underneath the mantel.

The hearth got a dose of fall as well.

I recently ordered this fall pillow cover from Amazon.

It's perfect for Thanksgiving so I placed Mr Turkey beside it.  Thanksgiving is Oct 9th this year - not that far away!

On the other side of the hearth sits a tall vase with a fall floral arrangement.

More Thanksgiving decor was added below.

Now that the fireplace area is decorated for fall, it is time to move on to the rest of the house.  Hope you'll check back and see what progress I've made.

Thanks for visiting!

  4. Beautifully done! I like the square frame with the wreath. I bought a square grape vine wreath that I still need to decorate for fall. I'm dragging my feet on fall decorating!

Our son lives in Montana and we hear there are lots of wildfires in BC. Hope you are staying safe!

  9. The wreath inside the frame is a great look and those antlers are gorgeous. I'm a bit late to the antler theme and just picked up a few last year. I love them for fall and winter and I love your mantel. You always style them so pretty. Thank you for sharing with us at Celebrate Your Story, and have a great weekend.
