Whether you are outside enjoying it or inside looking out, freshly fallen snow definitely has an ethereal quality to it.
Trying to capture that feeling with my winter decor, I created a Snow Dreams display.
A combination of winter themed items were arranged at different heights inside a woven tray.
A snowman all bundled up
A snowflake lantern with LED lights inside
Snowflake decorations
Glass mugs with snowflake designs
White napkins and silver spoons
A tree shaped wax candle
A ski decoration beside an apothecary jar
Frosted pine cones used as filler
Flocked greenery complete with sleigh bells inside a white pitcher made the perfect backdrop.
When the battery operated LED lights inside the lantern are turned on, a lovely glow covers the scene.
And at night, the effect is even better.
Do you have snow where you live or are you having your own snow dreams?
Thanks for visiting!

You make such BEAUTIFUL vignettes! They make me smile :-) God bless you! He has really gifted you!
ReplyDeleteThis vignette is beautiful. You managed to bring the feel of a quiet winters day indoors.
ReplyDeleteI really love this, so I share and pin it. Very nice.

Here in North Carolina, we had 8 inches of snow that fell last Friday night and early Saturday. It was beautiful and just snow. Usually we get snow that turns into sleet and freezing rain before ending. It was wonderful and then the temperature plummeted for us, so none of it melted quickly. In fact, yesterday was the day that it finally started disappearing rapidly. Love your vignette. You do such beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty is this display! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the napkins in the mugs! - stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteLove your winter decor, Lori. We had three days of cold weather and yesterday we hit 81 degrees again. I am not even decorating for winter, so I will enjoy yours and the snow through your blog. Have a wonderful weekend! Maria
ReplyDeleteSo cozy. Love the use of snowflakes and frosted pinecones to convey winter, but your vignette makes me feel warm and toasty, welcomed and nuzzle-down-cozy. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful Lori! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteI can just smell the fresh scent of greens. Very pretty post for this time of year, grins, and thanks, Sandi
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! We don't have snow here, which is okay by me :)! But I do love the look and dreaming about it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love looking out at the snow. We got 12 inches Sat. and it snowed all day again today. We are buried in it! :) Definitely a gorgeous sight! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Very pretty vignette and creative too. I must pull out my battery operated lights from my Christmas decor. You have inspired me to use them all year.
ReplyDeleteWe seldom have any snow in southern Alabama. When we do it is an EVENT! I did see plenty of snow and enjoyed skiing when we lived in Alaska for almost five years.
