Can you believe that a month from today will be Christmas Eve? Time is whizzing by and I've been in a decorating frenzy around here - so fun! This week, the end tables in the living room got a dose of Christmas decor.
I placed a sleigh with a gift and a faux greenery/berry arrangement on this end table.
Wrapping empty boxes in pretty paper is an easy and inexpensive way to add festive decor.
Here's the look on the other end table.
A lantern, some birdies and a burlap sack of pine cones fill the space on this table.
Placing some faux evergreens around your accessories helps fill spaces and gives everyday items more of a Christmas look.
Candles are always great for creating a cozy vibe.
Matching ribbon wrapped around the faux candle and the burlap bag adds a cohesive element.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!

Your Christmas decor is so pretty! I like your plaid ribbons and the wrapped gifts. I have done that before with empty boxes and love how easy it is to do.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are on top of your decorating Lori. The end table sure look festive and ready for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteThe lantern and the sleigh are both gorgeous timeless pieces you enjoy opening every year I am sure. Very pretty
ReplyDeleteCute and festive decorations!! Love the unique sled!
ReplyDeleteLovely ideas here, I'm a bit weary of using the same items in the same way each year. Thanks for the inspiration and thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story link party and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the festive touches throughout your home! I have wrapped boxes before and am thinking of doing some spilling out of a large washtub for my porch. Been so cold here that I have adorned it yet. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
How very pretty. I always feel I never decorate the end tables very well. You did an excellent job showing how to do it right.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the plaid this year and your Christmas decor is lovely. Thank you for sharing at Dishing it and Digging it link party.
