No, I haven't done any Christmas decorating or planned any Christmas activities in this month of July though I've heard of others out there who have and it sounds like fun.
My Christmas in July has to do with sharing this frosty Christmas tablescape I did last year but never got posted.
If you are like me, when that busy season rolls around, you don't have much time to sit back and enjoy the Christmas décor that is abundant on blogs then so maybe you can grab a cool beverage and peruse some now.
And if it's hot where you are, perhaps, as an added bonus, you'll feel cooler viewing the frostiness of this tablescape and the snow outside the windows.
The icy centerpiece began by placing three of these light-up Christmas trees down the center of the table.
They actually cycle through 3 different colours of
frostiness which is hard to capture in pics.
Between the trees, I added icy branches, white lights and silver ornaments.
The plates and chargers were coordinated with the theme...
...as were these snowflake napkin rings...
...and placecard holders.
Sparkling stemware stands ready for filling and a toast to the season...you choose which one :)
A silver snowflake embossed runner sits on a white tablecloth.
A round mirror was placed under the center tree to reflect the lights even more.
Behind the table, the sideboard also got a touch of Jack frost.
It's a real winter-fest here!
Okay, this was fun ...
...but now I think it's time to go back to the beach tablescapes of summer ...
I'm not quite ready to think Christmas yet...
...are you?
Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas in July…especially because it is very warm here in Florida and as you said, it reminds me of cooler times. I'm a Christmas person and even though I never decorate until late November, it is never too early to think about Christmas.
