I have created a display in a tray for three of the four seasons using the same round woven tray I got last year at Home Sense. I couldn't leave winter out of the fun so here's a look at what I created for this wonderful season.
It all started with two of these beautiful ceramic white moose that I received as a Christmas gift from my son and daughter-in-law.
I tried to design a snowy forest-like setting around them with birch logs as risers and accents.
Dishes always play an important role in any of my displays and these white mugs fit right in.
An acrylic snowflake was placed inside.
Of course, our love of skiing should also be represented.
The cute trees in the background were a Christmas gift from Mr. Delight.
White napkins with snowflake napkin rings were placed in the front of a birch log on the tray.
Square white bowls hold three little faux snowballs.
The winter scene on the tray inside...
...looks even more wintery against the snow covered yard outside.
It's such a beautiful time of year!
I had so much fun creating this...
I love walking along this wooded area at the end of our street especially after a fresh snowfall.
I've seen deer there but never a moose.
Hope you enjoyed seeing this season's
display in a tray.
Thanks for visiting!
