Bonding with Boxwood

Along with so many others out there, I've recently jumped on the "boxwood bandwagon" and am loving both the faux versions as well as the real preserved varieties.

I recently bought this lovely preserved boxwood wreath at Target (new to Canada and this was my first purchase there!)  It became the starting point for decorating my dining room in "boxwood beauty".

Here's a look at the sideboard in its boxwood glory.

This faux boxwood ball was from HomeSense.  I placed it on a pot I already had.

This is the same kind of faux BW ball from HomeSense only in a larger size.

My "HOME" clock (from Peoples Drug Store) makes the perfect sized centerpiece.

To the right of the sideboard, I've placed my newest boxwood (also from HomeSense). It is the real "preserved" variety.  Thanks to the sales clerk at HS for letting me know you need to "mist" the preserved ones every so often!

On the other side, I've kept out my branches with new leaves from my spring décor along with a birdhouse and BW ball on a black pot.

On the dining room table, a trio of boxwoods make a terrific "everyday" type centerpiece.

Faux boxwood orbs are placed on pebbles inside a round glass vase.

So have you jumped on the
"Boxwood Bandwagon"?

Are you "Bonding with Boxwood"?

What room do you have your "Boxwood Beauties" in?

The scary part for me is...this is only part of my boxwood addiction collection!

  6. I have some faux topiaries, but have been looking at the preserved boxwoods for a while. I keep hoping to find some less expensive ones! Love your centerpiece, as always!

  7. No worries, dear heart! Having a boxwood addiction is not so bad...unless you start growing them indoors. THEN we'd have to stage an intervention! :-)

I have jumped on the boxwood bandwagon to a certain extent. I like to mix boxwood balls in with other greenery. I bought some wholesale and just love them. I wish I could find the bigger ones wholesale, too. That would really help out!

I love what you've done on your sideboard!!!!!! That is a really great look! The HOME clock really looks great in the center, and the "R" off to the side is a great touch.

You guys just got Target?!???!! Oh, wow!!! Congratulations!!! I'm happy for you! It's a great store! I look forward to seeing what new goodies you find there!

    Have a terrific weekend!

  10. Love how you have used boxwood in so much of your decorating. I love boxwood. I have them in pots on my front porch and in my front flower beds. They always look pretty even in the gloom of our Utah winters.
