Father's Day Table with Harley Davidson Theme

With Father's Day coming up this weekend, I thought I'd share a more masculine looking tablescape I created for Mr Delight's birthday last month.  He is an avid motorcyclist with two Harley Davidson motorcycles so that seemed like the perfect theme for his quarantine birthday dinner for two.

Perhaps, you have someone with a similar passion that might enjoy this type of table decor.

I began with a black and white buffalo check tablecloth and a dark gray table runner that had a bit of a sheen to it.

For the centerpiece, I used a cloche and made a print-out of the Harley Davidson logo (internet/computer) which was taped on to one side. I added black and orange curling ribbon to the top.

The cloche was set over a Harley Davidson model of a motorcycle which I had placed on a round mirror.

Under the model, I placed a print-out of a highway (from the internet) and some string lights.

This was set on top of a cake plate covered by an orange Harley Davidson bandana.

The place settings were done in the black, orange and white - Harley Davidson colours.

I do not have Harley Davidson plates and have never actually seen any like this for sale so...

...I made my own!

I already had the orange and white salad plates and by taping a print-out of the Harley Davidson logo (internet), I was able to achieve a HD plate!

When we go to eat, I place a clear salad plate on top of the one with the taped logo on it...

...and the design still shows through and you can eat off it.

I used these black and orange plaid napkins I bought around Halloween and tucked a black handled fork inside a silver napkin ring.

Again, the placecards were created with the help of a print-out of the HD logo off the internet.

A Harley Davidson beer glass as well as tall black stemware await the beverages.

I set the table for two up in front of the fireplace as I wanted a cozy setting for Mr. Delight's birthday dinner.

I added a few other motorcycle themed items to the table to extend the look of the centerpiece across the table.

A pair of my leather riding gloves sit on one end and I forgot to get a pic but on the other end, I placed some riding sunglasses.

I made these HD highball glasses into candleholders by placing orange vase filler and a glass tealight holder inside.

Mr. Delight was very pleased with the Harley Davidson motorcycle themed tablescape I put together in honour of his birthday.

Lucky for me, he insisted on cooking his own birthday meal - steak and crab, it was so yummy!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Perhaps, you'll be sitting around a tablescape designed with one of your hobbies in mind.

Thanks for visiting!
