Fall Tablescape in Orange, White & Gray

I'm super excited to be joining in with a talented group of bloggers for a Fall Festival Blog Hop hosted by Kendra of Joy in Our Home and Lindsay of My Creative Days.  You'll find a different fall theme every day of this week so be sure to check out all the links at the end of my post. If you are stopping by from Back to Blueberry Hill, welcome!  I'm sure you enjoyed Kate's terrific tablescape and I'm happy you are here to see mine.

Today's feature is fall tablescapes and I'm sharing this orange, white & gray number.

I thought the colour combo and these dishes added a modern look to what just may be, our Thanksgiving tablescape.

Thanksgiving is on October 9th this year (Canadian) and I'm trying out different looks for the occasion starting with this one.

I began with the gray/silver tablecloth (Walmart this year) as a backdrop and added a shiny silver runner down the center.

I created the look of faux leaf chargers and saved myself a lot of money by doing so.

I simply took a Dollar Store garland and wrapped it around underneath the charger bending and twisting it until I got the look I wanted.  If you try this, get the garland with wire as it makes it easier to work with.

I didn't glue or attach anything - just formed a circle and placed it on top of this woven placemat and under the charger.
This is 1 garland as seen above.

When you place the charger on top, all you see is the faux leaf embellishment.
Easy and cheap!

I kept the centerpiece fairly simple and used repetition by placing like objects down the middle of the table.

Silver mini pumpkins sit atop white candleholders.

I placed white pumpkins on silver candleholders (turned upside down) next to those with silver votive holders in between.

Orange napkins and silver flatware sit next to each place setting.

I used these silver lids off jar candles propped against pine cones as placecard holders.

Though the colour palette was limited, a fun and festive table suitable for any fall occasion was created.

Guess what I am going back for now after seeing this....The garland! I love your table, the garland and those dishes too, so pretty!
