Last Minute Valentine Tablescape Inspiration

Are you hosting a Valentine dinner party this year? Or maybe you are looking for ideas on how to create a romantic table for two for you and your sweetheart to enjoy at home. Well, you've come to the right place!  In this post, I'll show you some of the Valentine themed tablescapes I've come up with over the  past few years.

We will start by checking out this

This darling rose napkin fold is one of the details that made this table special.

Here's a romantic table for two where we were Dining in a Valentine Snow Cave or at least it seemed like it!

I used a striking colour palette of black, white and red.

The table was set for six for this

Even the chandelier got some romantic touches.

Beside a cozy fire was the scene for this

Dimmed lights and candlelight provide the perfect backdrop.

A family gathering was the reason behind this

Heart shaped vases and crystal lamps combined to create a pretty centerpiece.

A Valentine Apres Ski Table for Two is what we are looking forward to this year.

This is what I have in mind to recreate for this coming Tuesday, February 14th.

Speaking of apres ski, here is a Valentine Dinner Party for Twelve from 2011, where we hosted a bunch of our skier-friends.

We celebrated our LOVE of skiing!

(Yep, that's snow outside the window! Glad it's not like that this year!)

I hope you've been inspired to put together something special for your Valentine's table.
Happy Valentine's Day!

  1. WOW - now that's some awesome inspiration, thank you!

I was shocked at the snow piled up high against your windows. I did a post a few ago about the anniversary of the worst snowstorm in Ohio history, and I remember winters like those!!!

This year we've hardly had any snow or cold temperatures - very odd weather for us. It was 60 degrees today!!!! SO WEIRD!!!!

  5. So many great inspiration posts here! I saw that snow outside the window and thought wow! One year in the winter of 1980-81 we got a ridiculous amount of snow. We lived at a different house but the sides of our driveway looked like that. It was crazy!
