Carrots & Bunnies Easter Tablescape

For my Easter tablescape this year, I carried the colour scheme and carrots & bunnies theme from the décor on my sideboard onto the table.
If you missed that post, I'll have a link to it later on.

Due to very sad circumstances in our family right now, we won't be able to get together for Easter dinner after all but I thought I'd share the details with you in case it provides some inspiration for your Easter table.

The bunny part of the theme began with these wonderful Pier 1 white bunny, egg shaped plates that Mr. Delight gave me for my upcoming birthday.

Some terra cotta pots were filled with Easter treats and set atop the plates.

Inside each pot, is a bag of candies and chocolates, a chocolate "carrot-umbrella" along with some "rocket" packs.   Green Easter grass, some faux blossoms and orange curling ribbon add a decorative element.

I found these great carrot shaped bags at the "Red Apple" store which help with the carrot theme on the table.

Because not everyone likes sweet treats, I filled them with popcorn and tied the top with a green ribbon.

The "dish stack" consists of a round woven placemat, a square white charger, an orange dinner plate, lime-green napkin, white bunny plate and the pot of Easter goodies.

Faux grasses with spring flowers in a brown metal tin make a colourful centerpiece.

I found the metal container at HomeSense this year and like the embossed pattern on it.

On each side of the floral centerpiece, stands one of my up-gazing white bunnies (Pier 1). This one is watching over the carrot nearby.

Two of these lanterns, I got last summer at London Drugs, fit the colour scheme perfectly and one was placed at each end of the table.

To give the table a spring gardening feel, I used little peat moss pots in 3 different ways on the table.  Below, is a sample of the nest placecard holders I created and set on top of the peat moss pots.

These carrot-rimmed candle rings were also set atop the peat moss cups.

Wooden carrots were also put inside the little pots.

The orange and white colour scheme along with the bunny and carrot accessories coordinate with my theme of a Carrots & Bunnies Easter Table.

Lori, Your Easter table is lovely. I am loving the orange, white, and green color scheme of your bunnies and carrots. The bunnies are adorable and the centerpiece is picture perfect. I am crushing on your clay pots filled with goodies for all. I may borrow your idea for our table settings today although my pots are much smaller. Have a wonderful and blessed Easter.... Candy

All is gorgeous Lori...you are so creative and talented with your tablescapes and this one is no difference, I love it all, specially the pop of orange through out it all. The stack of dishes, the rabbit and those terracotta planters in each place set is genius! Pinning it...so I can copy-cat you next time, lol!
Happy and blessed Easter.

Absolutely fabulous!! I love that pop of orange and all the wonderful elements that add interest & texture. For some reason, the orange lanter really popped out for me.
Thanks for sharing you're extraordinary tablescaping talent with us.

This is absolutely lovely! There is so much detail in your tablescape! I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to share Easter with your family. I hope everything is ok. We also had a very sad Passover - haven't shared any details on my blog, but a very tragic family loss for my cousin. Wishing you happier times ahead.
