Thanksgiving Bounty in a Tray

Although Thanksgiving is over, here in Canada, I thought I'd share this Thanksgiving Bounty in a Tray in hopes it might inspire some of my American readers for their upcoming holiday.

I created this as a centerpiece for my dining room table when it wasn't in use but it could possibly serve as a center décor piece for a Thanksgiving buffet.

I started this look by putting these glittered veggies in a little wooden box.

Mr. Delight surprised me with the Pier 1 veggie pieces. I thought they were better than if he'd brought me a bouquet of flowers!

Stacking my leaf shaped bowls gave me a chance to display them when not in use.

A black metal plate stand is decorated with faux berries, another leaf bowl and a glittered pumpkin.

Some small mason jars-turned-tealight-holders and a lantern with faux candle add a calming glow to the Thanksgiving display.

I guess it's time to put the pumpkins away now and get out the Christmas décor...

...but I might keep this idea for a tray centerpiece in mind if I'm hosting any holiday buffets.
