This special holiday is always on the second Monday of October however, in many homes, the traditional turkey meal often takes place on Sunday.
We were fortunate to be invited to my parents' place for dinner on Sunday but I did do a Thanksgiving tablescape for a dinner we hosted earlier in the week.
While I am calling it a "sophisticated" Thanksgiving tablescape, it also has a few rustic elements including pine cones.
Next comes these sparkly candleholders, "Windswept" by Partylite years ago.
A white serving platter holds a variety of elements which carries the centerpiece the length of the table. I'll show you the items required to create this look at the end of this post.
The sideboard is decorated with a simple pine cone theme with pine cones placed alongside my "HOME" clock.
A new addition to our dining room is this rustic "word" wall art. I love that Mr. Delight picked it out and we felt that it did a good job summing up "our home".
Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus...

As promised, here's a look at what you might want to round up to create something similar for your next Thanksgiving table.
Hope my fellow Canadians had a Happy Thanksgiving and all the best to my American friends for their holiday in November.
Thanks for visiting!
