This past weekend, we invited 4 other couples and hosted a fall dinner party for 10.
Outside, it was a miserable, rainy evening but inside, the bold autumnal colours on the table provided a warm glow and a cozy feeling.
The tablescape began with a 5-hurricane-vase-centerpiece running down the length of the table.
I kept the place settings fairly simple and didn't layer a lot of plates to start with as we had many courses of food served on a variety of dishes.
Each guest had a menu card placed on their charger.
First course consisted of a trio of appetizers
These pumpkin tureens held...
no, not pumpkin... but tomato soup!
The pictures I took of the salad and entrée courses didn't turn out at all but I did get this pic of one of the desserts I served.
Take-home favours were "pumpkin" Lindor chocolates.
The sideboard was decorated with a fall theme to accent the tablescape.
The lamps are a new purchase from Red Apple on sale for $24.99 ea. I had been trying to find some that complimented the shape of our chandelier and thought these did the trick and loved the price!
It was a very cozy, enjoyable evening spent with friends catching up and having lots of laughs.
And it seems it was the perfect timing since I can now join the Fall Tablescape Party happening over at Centsational Girl.
Be sure to check it out!
