Here is a look at a Snowman & Snow-woman tablescape I did a few years ago before I had a blog.
I like to combine these two with the acrylic light-up Christmas trees I have had for quite awhile now.
It makes for an icy winter-y feel.
White snowflakes hung from my chandelier add to the effect.
A centerpiece is created by placing small "disco-ball" ornaments inside a glass bowl which is surrounded by a white feather boa and some silver berry picks.
Square white dinner plates and clear glass salad plates sit atop silver chargers.
A snowy scene outside makes the perfect backdrop.
Here are a few other places this snowman family (yes, the Mr. & Mrs. have a son!) has shown up around our house during past Christmas seasons.
On a table set for a Christmas buffet
On a dinner tablescape using a long mirror as a table runner (the snowmen do not light up on their own but I've inserted battery operated LED lights inside so that they are illuminated)
On one of the tasting stations at our Wine Tasting last year - this is the dessert wine station
(Sorry blurry pic) This year, they are sitting on a shelf in our kitchen
On the kitchen table for a ladies Christmas luncheon
Be sure to head on over to Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch and enjoy a few minutes of "tablescape down-time" during your hectic holiday schedule!
Oh my gosh this stole my heart. It is wonderful. You reminded I have a couple of those snowmen, will have to "try" and put a table together with them. hugs ~lynne~

ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
So sparkly and pretty. I love the bowls filled with snow and ornaments. I think it's going to be bowls and apothecary jars filled with goodies for my centerpiece this year. Sugar Plum Fairies....yes, I'm leaning toward that.
ReplyDeletethat was just beautiful!
