You know the number one thing I love about decorating for Fall?
It seems that NO ONE is apologizing for putting out anything "FAUX"!
For some reason, when it comes to fall decorations, "FAUX" goes! And since I have lots of the "fake" stuff, I say bring it on!!!
It seems that NO ONE is apologizing for putting out anything "FAUX"!
For some reason, when it comes to fall decorations, "FAUX" goes! And since I have lots of the "fake" stuff, I say bring it on!!!
Today, I am taking you on a tour of the fall decorating I've done in different areas of our home. And yes, there is lots of "faux" to be found!
A display on the coffee table in the living room
An end table in the living room
Small table behind love seat near front door entry
Kitchen table
Kitchen island display - hope I'm making all of you with outdated Hunter Green countertops feel better about yourselves! Or am I trying to make myself feel better? (on the list of reno's coming up!)
Kitchen countertop display near stove
Sofa table beside fireplace
Closer view of these wire candleholders I got from Partylite last year.
Shelf display near kitchen
Table by front windows where we enjoy lots of our meals.
Close up of one set of my beloved Trio Glass Vases
Small table in dining room
Shelf in dining room
Atop one of Mr. Delight's ginormous speakers (what's a girl to do when the hubby wants loud sound? Decorate around it of course!)
Shelf in spare bedroom (wall colour looks very different - IRL it is actually a terra cotta colour )
Middle shelf on etagere in living room (middle pumpkin is one that lights up)
Top shelf of etagere with similar display
See how I have the light-up pumpkin turned around now for a Halloween display?
Living room coffee table decor
Wreath I MADE for the front door (amazing for me as I'm not very crafty AT ALL!!)
End table in TV Room downstairs
Other end table in TV Room
Close up of decor inside a "squatty" lidded vase/jar.

You are so right about the way everyone embraces faux for fall....or maybe it's the time of year that makes them fall for faux. My favorite is the vignette with the pitcher and th eplate in your kitchen. Absolutely lovely. I must go find some of those trio glass vases. They work in so many situations! Thank you for sharing your charming designs. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed seeing all your pretty Fall decor. All my Fall decor is faux, with the exception of a few pine cones and cinnamon sticks. I meant to stop for a pumpkin or 2 and Fall flowers today, but was back home when I remembered.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
I like all your decor, faux or not! It looks really warm and colorful!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the season!
Blessings,
Kathy

Your fall decor is so pretty! ZI really love the kitchen island display! And no worries about the hunter green counters... I think we all have one, or two, or twenty outdated things about our homes! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful Fall vignettes. I have got to get some of those glass vases with the glass inserts. You do such pretty things with those. Love that plate and pitcher in your kitchen and the display under and in glass on your countertop. All of it is so pretty. Thank you for linking all of this Fallness to Favorite Things Sat. laurie

I love all of your Fall *faux-ness*! You have quite a gift for arranging vignettes ... I can't pick a fave; however, I especially love the one on your coffee table with the grapes mixed in. I'm a huge fan of *faux* myself. :) Thanks for sharing your beautiful Fall decor, and thank you for leaving me such a sweet note about my Fall buffet! Take care, Becca
