New Christmas/Birthday Plates

I had received a gift certificate to a local store from my sister-in-law last April for my birthday.  I carried it around with me for many months always browsing in the store but never really finding exactly what I wanted to use the gift certificate for.  Just before Christmas, I spotted these red plates and knew I'd found my birthday present!

There are 4 patterns per set (I bought two sets/8 plates).  This pic shows the snowflake design.

I love this gingerbread man & woman design!

I didn't get a good pic of the Christmas tree one.

Do you think I might be able to use the dove plates for
Valentine's Day?

My red/white Santa & Mrs. Claus sugar and creamer set go well with the new plates.

I added my snowman family and acrylic light-up trees to the tablescape.

My Grandma, Mom and I took turns prior to Christmas to host weekly luncheons.  I used my new red plates and this tablescape for the lunch at my house.

The Snowman family wish you and yours a very Happy New Year!

  6. I love them! I do think you could use the dove for Valentines day as long as you tie it in with other dove/Valentine items. The table looks great!

  9. How cute this table looks! I was googleing "Valentines Day plates" to go on my new plate rack & your post from a year ago came up. I would most certainly use the dove ones for a special lover's table.

  11. Hi Bettina,

I wish I could help you get a set of these snowmen but unfortunately, I just picked them up in a local Dollar Store a few years ago and there was only one set then. I have no idea where they came from and there was no label on the bottom. I hope you can find something similar soon, they are fun to have!
