I'm a bit late to post this as my 2010 Halloween tablescape but I was sick this past week so didn't get it finished in time. I hope you'll humour
me and take a look now.
me and take a look now.
The Witching Hour has begun.....
You can feel the terror building...
The Ravens are escaping...
The Dead are screaming....
...and howling
Can you hear them?
Spiders are crawling....
All is not well...
Do you have goosebumps yet?
Step by step, the foreboding intensifies....
The Owls' lonely hoot echoes throughout...
Their all-knowing eyes see right through you...
The candle flickers...
All are on guard...
Waiting....
and watching...
She can't be far away.....
For it is Her hour to shine....
AAAHHH! Run for your lives! The Witch has finally arrived and Her evil ways have already transformed the place!
Thanks for playing along!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic tablescape! What I like best about it is that you can peel away all the Halloweeny decorations and it would still be stunning!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love everything about this table! Such fun little trinkets~and a great sense of humor to boot! :-)
ReplyDeleteI just love the spooky elegance of this table. You did a wonderful job of combining a beautiful table with a feel for the holiday. I hope you are feeling much better!
ReplyDeleteDD, your table is FABULOUS! So many little details! I need to go back and study the pictures a little more. I'm sure there are alot of things I missed the first time.
ReplyDeleteWonderful as usual. But I have a question. Your pics always have a good goldenish light and don't have that overexposed glare. Are you using special lighting ? What camera are you using.
ReplyDeleteDD I hope you are feeling better. I am sick of being sick! 3 weeks of this cough, very tiring!
ReplyDeleteThat is one scary table! Beautiful, but scary!
Love all the attention to detail, the clock, the cage, the story! Just wonderful!
