With Canadian Thanksgiving being in October, it was easiest to combine a fall and Thanksgiving look on my tiered tray.
Mr Turkey and a fall sign are the focus on the top tier. Some fall foliage and a pumpkin add to the seasonal vibe.
I used some copper elements on the bottom tier. Their metallic sheen and colour add a lot of texture and warmth to the tray's look.
The other side of the tray was decorated in a similar fashion.
Small pieces of wheat and foliage were tucked into the copper mugs and the empty spaces on each of the tiers.
I like having my tiered tray at the end of our kitchen island as it is the first thing you see when you walk into the space.
In case you are interested, this is how the tiered tray looks prior to decorating. I ordered mine on Amazon.
It is called Creative Co-op Wood Two Tiered Tray.
Next up...Halloween decor on the tiered tray.
Most of these items are things I've had for years but the Trick or Treat sign is a new find at a gift shop during our recent travels to visit our son (his birthday is Oct 31!)
And the Rae Dunn melamine tumblers are also new from HomeSense.
Here's the view from the other side of the tray.
This sign is from the same gift shop and fit perfectly with the bat candleholder I already had.
Pumpkins, mice and spiders were tucked here and there. Can you spot the bat in this pic?
I always tend to overstuff my tiered tray with a lot of items but you can take a much simpler approach and it will still have a big impact in adding seasonal decor to your home.
We are enjoying this Halloween themed tiered tray right now but I'm also excited to change it up again soon...for Christmas!
Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteLori, you always have such a beautiful way of styling your tiered tray! I'm going to see if I can follow your lead.
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun and creative! I have so many random decor items that this is a great way to use them in a cohesive way. Saw your link on Silver Pennies party—thanks for sharing! www.amysenter.com
ReplyDeleteAll lovely. But I was wondering where the leaf bowls in the background came from, or at least what brand they are?
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! The leaf bowls are by Better Homes and Garden line and I bought them at Walmart about 8 years ago. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. ~ Lori
DeleteWhere did you get the tiered tray...how large is it?
ReplyDeleteHi there, I got the tray on Amazon. It is called the "Creative Co-op Wood Two Tiered Tray". They have lots of different trays of different sizes. ~ Lori
