Post Christmas Winter Tablescape

Happy New Year to you all! It's been quite a while since I last posted but I wanted to share this idea for how you can transition your table decor from Christmas to winter.

My inspiration began with this faux fur table runner (recent purchase on Amazon) which provided the cozy vibe I was aiming for.

Coordinating faux fur placemats brought the cozy factor to the place settings as well.

Faux evergreens like this wreath that encircles a salad bowl help create a wintry look.

A wooden mitten placed inside the bowl becomes a placecard holder.

My acrylic handled flatware on a glass knife rest mimics an icy feel.

A green goblet and hobnail glass await the beverages.

A trio of these burlap wrapped faux cypress shrubs comprise the centerpiece.

I placed a white lantern and some birch logs between them.

A snowflake candleholder...

...and some ski decorations go with the theme.

I've left up some of our Christmas trees with the lights and added string lights to the table for a warm glow.

These green and white checked napkins provide a casual cabin-like vibe.

This type of tablescape would be perfect for an apres ski or post sledding gathering.

Have you left some twinkle lights up to help with any winter blues you might have?

Thanks for visiting!

I'll be linking this post to these wonderful blog parties:
