Pretty Pastels Easter Table and Hello Again!

Hello there! It's been a very long time and I'm not even sure who will even see this.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know I'm very active there but somehow haven't made it back to posting here.

With that in mind, I thought I'd share my latest tablescape and part of the reason for my absence from the blog.

Back in November, we were blessed with the arrival of our second granddaughter, "Presley Reese".

I went to stay with my daughter and SiL to help with the new arrival as well as my older granddaughter. Soon after, it was Christmas and then the time has just flown...

...and now, Easter is almost here!
Inspiration for this year's Easter tablesape came from the pastel colours in these beautiful dishes by Bico Ceramics.

The pattern is called "Margaret's Garden" (available through Amazon   HERE for US and HERE for Canada) and I think it is perfect for Easter, Mother's Day, or any spring/summer gathering.

Here's the full view of the table where you can see I used a white tablecloth and layered 3 pale green table runners crisscross on the table.

The centerpiece began with a faux floral arrangement in a ceramic basket.

I arranged faux tulips, cherry blossoms and overflowing greenery inside the basket.

Cylinder vases filled with Easter eggs and tealight candles were placed beside the floral arrangement.  Faux greenery and a pip berry wreath encircle the bottom of the vases.

An Easter tablescape has to have a few bunnies!

These guys sit in front of the center basket.

On the opposite end of the table, I filled an apothecary jar with candy Easter eggs and surrounded it with another pip berry wreath.

The place settings started with a pink charger followed by the dinner plate, salad plate and bowl in the Bico Ceramic's "Margaret's Garden" pattern.

A glass of blush wine and water await.

I used my gold flatware for a touch of elegance since this is for Easter dinner.

Acrylic knife rests protect the tablecloth from any messes.

Little tulip shaped egg cups were filled with candy and placed inside the bowls filled with Easter grass.  I printed bunny placecards on my computer.

Faux Easter eggs and Easter candy in shades of pastel pink, blue and yellow were scattered over the table.

A bird napkin ring seemed perfect for spring!

I added some decorative greenery to the chair backs with light blue ribbon.

I had a lot of fun putting this tablescape together for Easter and can't wait to add a few more place settings and celebrate with family in two weeks!

Another couple shots of my precious granddaughter when she was a newborn...

...how quickly the time has flown...

...and now she is 4 months old!

I'm so excited that we'll be spending Easter with my daughter, SiL and granddaughters!

Thanks for visiting!
