Here is the Pier 1 Imports ad that inspired me.
And here's my version...
I felt the colour scheme was perfect for early fall but could also work for Thanksgiving.
The warm highlights of the copper contrasted the calming tones of the eucalyptus green wonderfully.

I was happy to find this coordinating pumpkin at HomeSense a few weeks ago.
I cut the eucalyptus stems (from Pier 1) and placed them in some old spice jars I had. The copper pumpkin and other smaller green-toned one are from my fall stash.
Those items were scattered along the center of the table.
Large square woven placemats are from Pier 1's clearance section a couple years ago.
The copper-coloured floral napkin rings and both the sheer napkin and the green napkin are also from the clearance bins at Pier 1.
Floating tealights at each place setting add ambiance to the table.
A copper coloured charger plate holds a eucalyptus coloured dinner plate topped with a white salad plate.
Gold coloured flatware was used.
Drinkware included copper mugs and wine glasses.
The wine glasses rested on wood coasters for a rustic touch.
The wooden riser that this pumpkin rests on is a recent find at Pier 1 and will come in very hand for all sorts of decorating purposes.
Faux gold leaves were added in with the eucalyptus.
More eucalyptus stem pieces and faux gold leaves were tucked under the center pumpkin.
A copper coloured table runner provides the backdrop to the centerpiece.
The view towards our living room...
...and the view of our dining room
I usually decorate with traditional fall colours but this year, I'm finding it fun to mix it up.
Do you decorate with the typical oranges, browns and cranberry colours of fall?
Or are you thinking about something different for this year's decor? Whatever your choice, I hope you have fun with it!
Thanks for visiting!
