This is the view as you walk into our kitchen.
This sideboard sits against the far wall. Mr Delight built the shelf above years ago and the sideboard is from Home Hardware almost 2 years ago (it came in a very faux looking distressed finish so Mr D painted it for me).
This is the arrangement I put together on one end of the sideboard.
The eucalyptus stems and vase are a recent birthday gift card purchase from Pier 1.
The tall glass candleholders are by Partylite years ago and got an update with some white paint on the metal pieces inside (used to be brown).
Shell shaped plates and a starfish sit atop colour coordinated napkins.
Some blue tin pails from the Dollar Store, some shell and greenery balls add more of the beach vibe.
I placed pieces of sea glass in the bottom of the glass candleholders.
On the shelf above sits a little metal white house, some white lanterns and black candleholders.
This gather sign is a DIY project where Mr D painted an old wood sign we no longer used and I stuck the word gather on and hung a wreath on a nail.
Here's the grouping on the other side of the sideboard.
Some blue bowls hold a shell and sit on white square appetizer plates.
More of the Dollar Store tin pails.
A shell shaped tealight holder sits in front.
I tied faux greenery around the faux candles with rafia to give them more of a beach look too.
Beside the sideboard, I placed this basket with a pillow.
"Beach Rules" are listed on the pillow.
(Amazon last year - just the pillow cover)
And that's how the sideboard will remain until I decide it's time for a fall look.
How about you?
Do you like summer to go on and on or do you love to get out all those pretty pumpkins and fall coloured leaves?
Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with your summer decor! So pretty! Fall is my favorite, but it's still so hot here, that I'm leaving our summer decor up for a while longer!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty coastal display! I love all of the details and mixture of textures and colors. Thanks for sharing at Tuesday Turn About! Pinning!
