As promised in my previous post, here is a look at my
Almost Midnight Halloween Tablescape.
The idea for my "Almost Midnight" Halloween Dining Room began by moving this large clock from the kitchen to the sideboard in the DR.

For my scary table centerpiece I inserted some orange lights (battery operated) into the back of this skull.
To give it prominence amongst the table décor, I placed it under a cloche and elevated both on a cake plate surrounded by a berry wreath.
The colour version...
On each side of the skull centerpiece, I placed a metal votive candle holder filled with mini-skulls, orange acrylic glass chunks and a couple of tealights.
The place settings were done in silver, black and white with a treat bag as placecard.
A small creature welcomes guests while trying to sneak some stray candy corn.
Let's take a look at what is lurking in those back corners...
On one side of the buffet, black roses add a sinister elegance to the décor.
On the other side, a wicked witch slyly sits in wait of what prey she might find at or on the table.
With the help of some photo-editing, the room takes on an eerie glow.

ReplyDeleteWhat a SPOOKTACULAR table!! I love it all, especially the lit skull! I wish I knew how to edit pictures, I have tried to use picmonkey and I am lost:) SOOOO NOT tech savvy. Hope you had a great Halloween. Since we moved here, we don't get any trick or treaters anymore:( Oh well, life moves on, huh?

A one-day-late "Happy Birthday" wish for your son! What a fun day to have a birthday...sure beats my #1 DGS, whose is the day AFTER Christmas. Ugh!
